Politician Greco Belgica said that he has already filed a case for Senator Leila de Lima at the Office of the Ombudsman.
Belgica has been vocal about his opposition to Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales’ decision to avoid probing De Lima, claiming that the testimonies against her were “mere allegations”.
Belgica days ago claimed that he held evidence against De Lima.
He said although there is a possibility that Morales would not move on his motion, that situation would only prove that the Ombudsman is biased, and opts to protect De Lima and the Liberal Party.
Morales was put into her position by Former President Benigno Aquino III.
“Ang bilis bilis nyang imbistigahan si Bato dahil daw may admission, pero di niya sinisilip si De Lima na meron ding admission?” he said, referring to Morales’ decision to conduct a probe on Philippine National Police Chief Ronald Dela Rosa for going on an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas to watch the boxing match of Senator Manny Pacquiao.
Four days ago, Morales ordered the dismissal from public service of Senator Joel Villanuevafor his administrative liability over the allegedly anomalous use of P10 million from his pork barrel allocation as a House member.
“Bakit dismiss kagad si Joel, pero wala man lang suspension kay De Lima?” he said.
“Unfair, bias, namimili at nag bubulag bulagan ka dahil kaibigan mo si De Lima.” he wrote.
He said Morales will now have no more reason to say she cannot
nvestigate the senator.
“Your action will show your true color. Wag mo na po kaming lokohin. Dilawan po kayo at bias. No longer fit to become ombudsman.” he wrote.
“Kung ganyan din naman po ninyo patatakbuhin ang Ombudsman, ISARA NALANG NATIN YANG OPISINA MO, DAHIL USELESS NA ITO!” he added.
