The Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar warns those groups working just to ouster President Rodrigo Duterte, he mentioned that they started to monitor certain individuals since they already have some of their names from credible sources in the United States.
I have received information from credible sources in the United States, we are aware of this and we have names. I’ve received names but I’m not going to mention it. We take any destabilization move seriously whether it’s rumor or it’s A-1 information. It’s against the law.-Andanar
Andanar would like to reiterate and warn these groups to be careful because they could file a case against them.
The warning is just be careful in what you plan, because it’s against the law.
In addition to that, Andanar chose not to mention those names given to him to prevent any libel case to be filed against him, he said:
Alam mo naman, tayo din naman ay naging journalist eh. Di ba? baka ma-libel tayo. Basta hanggang doon na lang. Meron kaming mga pangalan. We know who they are, we are studying it.
