Daughter of trial justice rebukes use of lumads by the cynical who seek to unseat President Duterte

Lorraine Marie Badoy, daughter of former Sandiganbayan Associate Justice Anacleto Badoy reacted to the recent incident of violence and riot between the police and indigenous groups which transpired at the front of the United States embassy.

Badoy in her Facebook page said that she is sickened by the people who used the tragedy to criticize Duterte. “No matter if it is done in such a bumbling and blatantly cynical manner,” she wrote.

She said the recent news where actress Cynthia Patag and company used a person’s death was to “further their political agenda.”

She said these “simple-minded” people considers only two types of persons: the pro- and the anti-Duterte.

“And they wield these weapons and force a reframing of even the most sacred of events (death) and even the gravest of matters-the patently unjust and cruel ways the US-imperialist-run State has treated out national minorities throughout history- to suit whatever nefarious political agenda they may have.” she wrote.

Badoy said that the people knows who the real enemy is.

” I stand solidly behind the President whose track record shows his care and protection of our indigenous brothers and sisters”.

Badoy says she condemns the use of the IPs by the cynical who seek to undermine the government and are planning on unseating a duly elected president.

“This President who has shown great care towards the IPs is their one best shot at getting the justice that has eluded them for centuries” Badoy wrote.
