People trying to scare us with threats of communism must go back to the 1960’s- Atty Bruce

He said that out of all the presidents this country had. Duterte is the only one who can boast of such great achievements in just the first 100 days.

“No president managed to force 800 users and pushers to surrender, Laglag bala is gone the very day after he assumed the presidency. Asian leaders are scrambling to invite him and work with him.Even non-traditional states that are indifferent due to our perceived closeness with US, wants to do business with us”.

He says this is beneficial since Asia is the next big thing and we should forge our alliance with our neighbors.

“Gone are the days that communism and capitalism are as clear as black and white. So calling the downfall of a communist president is so 1960’s and people trying to scare us with a scenario of a communist Philippines deserve to be returned to where they belong in- the 1960’s”.

He highlighted the importance of the state doing business with the players it deems best.

“There is no reason to limit our friendships only to the US. We should befriend even their enemies.”

He said that national pride is important and that we should recognize that although ties with China are being forged, it does not mean that ties with other countries must be given an end.

To those calling for people power against Duterte. he has a message:

“Sawa na po kami sa people power!1 Been there and done that. And what did it get us? A richer oligarchy.”

“We have a president trying to change that. All you need is to thank him. Or just shut the fuck up.” he added.

A THANKLESS JOB

Good thing the approval ratings of PRRD will speak for itself otherwise, we are a nation doomed to fail because we have a very, very noisy minority who will capitalize on every matter just for negative mileage. The little opposition who control majority of the wealth will stop at nothing to destroy what Digong has achieved.

Let us just base it on facts. No President can boast of great achievements on its first 100 days in office. No one.

No President managed to force 800k users and pushers to surrender. Not even Magsaysay. Laglag bala is gone the very day after he assumed the presidency. Asian leaders are scrambling to invite him and work with him. Even non-traditional states that are indifferent due to our perceived closeness with the US wants to do business with us.

And with good reason. Asia is the next big thing and the Philipines is in a very strategic location that we should be taking advantage of this by forging alliances with our neighbors which we have not been doing because the US told us to beware and avoid.

And is it for our best interest? You be the judge. But gone are the days that communism and capitalism are as clear as black and white. So calling for the downfall of a communist president is so 1960’s and people trying to scare us with a scenario of a communist Philippines deserved to be returned to where they belong…in the 60’s.

The world is now a free market where the success of a state depends on the business deals we will strike with the most number of players. It is no longer defending an idealogy like capitalism where we are forced to only work with capitalist west and shun the communists.

Hence, there is no reason to limit our friendships only to the US and states where the US finds acceptable. We should befriend even their enemies because our Constitution provided:

We, the sovereign Filipino people…

It did not say, we, the Filipino people friendly to the United States of America. We are an independent state looking after our own interest and having friends, all those we cam manage to befriend. I do not understand why befriending China automatically means unfriending the US. And it does not also mean that if we choose not to kowtow to the US, we will now kowtow to China.

People who think that way have low regard for the Philippines. Just because we no longer want to be the whipping boy of one state does not mean we will be the whipping boy of another. Guys, leave your masochistic fantasies in the bedroom. Duterte envisions that the Philippines will no longer be someone’s whipping boy. Again, because we are a sovereign people.

It is called NATIONAL PRIDE.

And speaking of pride, the people of Cagayan bore the brunt of Lawin. Yes, they suffered but the absence of our President because he was in China doing his job should not be taken as a sign of weakness.

Filipinos should learn a little bit of pride. If Lawin tried to destroy us but even with the destruction, we can pick up the pieces ourselves, do we really need the presence of an old man who has tirelessly worked his ass off for more than 100 days when the systems are in place for relief operations, though not perfect but not in disarray like in Yolanda. Those wanting him justs want to punish him wishing he would surrender due to exhaustion.

Those calling for people power to oust a
“communist” President should reassess their rhetoric. Sawa na po kami sa people power!!! Been there and done that. And what did it get us? Oh well, a richer oligarchy who can create uncertainty with their sheer wealth despite lacking the popular support and a pseudo-indepedent state whipped to submission.

And we have a President wanting to change it. All you need to do is thank him. Or just shut the fuck up!!!
