In the video shared by “Thinking Pinoy”, Duterte asked Pia Ranada-Robles what is the meaning of SPO4 since she is supposedly a smart girl.
“Bright ka man, ano ang ibig sabihin ng SPO4?” Duterte asked Pia Ranada-Robles.
“How can you make a report kung wala kang idea kung ano ang halimaw na ito?” Pres. Duterte told Pia.
Clueless, Pia Ranada-Robles of Rappler could only shake her head and smile to hide her embarrassment.
But Duterte is not done yet with Pia Ranada-Robles.
When the flow of the questioning from the reporters revolved around extra-judicial killings, Duterte announced that he plans to tell the police to call the media whenever they conduct raids.
Duterte in his usual poker-faced style remarked that he told the police not to forget to call Pia Ranada-Robles because she loves that stuff.
Pia Ranada-Robles was caught smiling on camera while Pres. Duterte spoke about the plan of having the media tag along the police during operation against illegal drugs.
Duterte then faced toward the direction of Pia and told her: “Ikaw ang unang isama sa mga raids para makita mo ang aksyon.” Translation: You’ll be the first to cover the raids Pia, so you can see the action for yourself.
Duterte assured Pia she will be equipped with a camera so that she will get something out of it.
“I will also provide you with the cameras so that you will get something out of it.”
Duterte asked Pia if she is ok with his plan. Pia replied said yes.
Whether she was serious about her answer, that remains to be seen.
Duterte can be heard saying, “You’re saying OK right now but…”
Duterte explained why reporters will be allowed to cover the police operation because he wants to stop reporters from calling every suspect that dies in the police operation as an extra-judicial killing.
Every time there is a dead guy, the morons tabulate it right away as extra-judicial killing.
In frustration, Duterte asked reporters who call every dead guy victim of extra-judicial killing: “Are you crazy guys?”
