Overseas Filipino specialist (OFW) Jakatia Pawa was executed Wednesday, January 25, even as she stated guiltlessness in the murder of her Kuwaiti business’ 22-year-old little girl.
Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs representative Charles Jose stated Pawa was executed at about 3:19 pm, Philippine time, on Wednesday.
The casualty’s family members “was not managable” to accepting blood money from Pawa’s family members, as indicated by Jose.
“She has maintained purity since the day she was captured in 2007 and has not changed her announcement as of recently,” Senator Cynthia Villar prior stated.
Villar clarified that the DNA found around the murder weapon “did not match Jakatia’s DNA.”
She included that the OFW had no rationale in doing this since she had been “steadfastly and gently serving her Kuwaiti business for a lengthy time.”
Villar prior bid such Pawa’s “reality could be saved, around the grounds that in every way that really matters, she may be pure from the wrongdoing and it would be out of line and heartbreaking to determine the execution completed.”
While Pawa was sentenced to death in 2010, the timetable of her execution on Wednesday came as an amazement for her relatives and non-legislative associations, reports stated. The timetable was exposed just at noontime on Wednesday, the day of her execution.
