Far Eastern University professor Francis Rae Quilantang who claims he has covered the burial of Corazon Aquino as a reporter, said that Ferdinand Marcos’ burial was no Hero’s burial, not when put in comparison to her’s.
He said the uprisings against the late president’s burial at the Heroes’ cemetery is uncalled for.
He also claimed that Corazon Aquino should have paid for her atrocities and did not deserve her burial.
Same goes with all the Presidents) pero sinisingle out nyo ung iisang tao.” he wrote.
Quilantang said he is neither pro-Marcos or Aquino, but calls himself an “observer, a student of various ideas and information.”
He said that one could both hate and love a leader at the same time.
