Too much democracy in Philippines is becoming non-sense because the government is giving too much freedom to people who don’t deserve it. Rallyists, demonstrations, and protesters – the same noisy people who, most of them are not even paying taxes are shouting and yelling the same things for decades.
Human Rights in the Philippines is overrated. Should we really ask Indonesia to forgive the unnamed Pinay who caught with 2.6 kilos of heroin? Indonesia has its policy. Should we beg and bow down just for the sake of a criminal?
I know how sad it will be to lose a family but considering the fact that the woman could have destroyed hundreds of lives, Indonesia has all the rights to exercise their law.
Our government, the Philippines, and the President is facing local terrible problems. The government should forget such issue and focus on more important problems locally.
In the past, there had been several Filipino criminals convicted in other countries especially in Middle East. Supporters of Human Rights are always asking the government to save those people. Yes, everyone has the right to live, but how about criminals who are giving the country shame than fame?
How about raising money to help needy people instead of funding the release of these criminals?
Criminals inside the New Bilibid Prison are treated like freemen because of our failed system, should we do the same to people who left the Philippines and do crimes in other countries?
If we want to live in harmony, we should not overrate and abuse our democratic rights. Let criminals pay their dues – we have other better things to do than going out on streets, get paid, and shout like fools asking the government to do impossible things.
