02/12/2015 – Manila | Former Wowowie host Willie Revillame announced on Saturday that he will be selling his expensive cal collection to augment his daily personal needs and also to help his needy neighbors. He also noted that he want to have a normal life the moment he is back into spotlight.
It was October 2013 when Revillame last appear on TV hosting his own program. According to him, he
feels empty while being away from showbiz circulation, but he learned many things that gave him life lessons.
Revillame said in an interview that he was in the verge of giving up, but the arrival of Pope Francis game him hope and more power.
“I had everything but in just a blink of an eye, everything was gone”, Revillame said referring to his wealth during the height of his popularity.
Revillame also noted that having expensive cars does not make any sense if you don’t have money to buy gas, pay taxes, and even vehicle registration fees. “This is how broke I am”, the actor continued.
“I called all of my friends telling them to sell this and sell that because I don’t need these cars anymore and I need money”, Revillame said with teary eyes.
At the age of 54 years, Revillame said he is not asking for anything anymore aside from returning to spotlight so that he can do good things and help many people.
Revillame admitted that he is suffering financially but he is not giving-up. He also noted that he and Joey De Leon have been good with each other ever since he left his last TV program. “I regret and I blame myself for what happened”, he said.
In a separate but related news, rumors circulating over Joey De Leon’s attempt to help the fallen actor back to TV, especially to GMA as Kapuso.
