“WALA PONG KARAPATAN ANG SINUMANG HINDI KUMIKILALA SA BATAS, NA GAMITIN ANG MISMONG BATAS PARA SA KANYANG KAPAKANAN; KAHIT PA NGA ITO AY ANG BATAS TUNGKOL SA HUMAN RIGHTS.”
A netizen who studied Doctor in philosophy called on to Senator Leila de Lima, saying that he used to be a supporter of the senator but is now disgusted after finding out about the crimes perpetuated inside the New Bilibid Prisons.
Jun Ditona in his facebook page, said that the time of his admiration has passed.
He said that it was impossible for De Lima to not have known about this since the Bureau of Corrections is directly under the Department of Justice, which she headed than as Justice Secretary.
He said it was either the people under her did it without her knowing, or she herself has had something to do with it.
He said he is also dismayed by how De Lima is using her position as senator to stop President Rodrigo Duterte from eradicating crime.
He said that De Lima was merely making a scene to distract the government and let the drug lords proceed with their crimes.
“ANG MASAKLAP, HABANG GUMAGAWA KAYO NG IMBESTIGASYON SA SENADO TUNGKOL SA SERYOSONG KAMPANYA NG GOBYERNO LABAN SA KRIMINALIDAD, NANGANGANIB NA MULI ITONG MADISKAREL AT MAKATAKAS NA NAMAN ANG MGA HINAYUPAK NA MGA DRUG LORDS AT IBA PANG MGA CRIME LORDS NA SIYANG MGA TUNAY NA KALABAN NG ATING BANSA.”
He also called on to the rest of the senators to not let the idea of personal benefits lead them to go against the law, like what De Lima is doing.
