In an interview of Inquirer to Senator Antonio Trillanes IV dated March 15, 2016, he said that President Rodrigo Duterte is not corrupt unlike former Vice President Jejomar Binay.
“I believe si Duterte to be fair, hindi naman siya corrupt. Si Binay iba eh, iba ito. Iba yung kanyang motivation in life. I believe he wants to become the richest man in the world in the expense of the filipino nation. So yun yung problema doon.”
