LOOK: Selena Gomez Look-Alike From Cebu

After last Saturday’s Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan, netizens rapidly took note of a young lady carrying the image of the Senor Sto. Nino using the Tribu Ginatilan contingent due to her resemblance to Hollywood actress Selena Gomez.

She has since been identified as Gerhicke Carcueva, a 17-year-old Filipina-Swiss who resides in Lilo-an, Cebu. She chose to dance using the town of Ginatilan, which is her mom’s hometown. Her Swiss father has already passed away.

After learning that her photo has gone viral on social media, Carcueva said she is flattered, although she had already heard these comments prior to. 

She added that she is overwhelmed using the response simply because now her social media accounts are flooded with well-wishers and friend requests.

Carcueva is now busy preparing for the Sinulog Grand Parade this Sunday where she will nonetheless be joining the Tribu Ginatilan because the lead dancer alongside her mother Gemma Carcueva. She plans to finish senior high college prior to chasing her dream of becoming a model.

Carcueva has already received numerous inquiries from talent scouts but she stated she wants to prioritize her studies. Nevertheless, she can also be open to any chance that comes up.
