“Aguirre continues to be utilizing his business office to persecute and harass customers in the opposition by fabricating testimonies from dubious convicts or detainees like the Bilibid drug lords, Kerwin Espinosa and now Napoles,” the senator stated.
Aguirre reportedly explained that Trillanes, Senator Leila de Lima, and former funds secretary Florencio Abad would be charged quickly above the pork barrel rip-off.
It was throughout De Lima’s time as Justice Secretary when fees were submitted from Napoles and also other personalities, which includes a few former senators – Juan Ponce Enrile, Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada, and Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. – for alleged involvement within the fraud.
Estrada and Revilla remained in detention on the Philippine Nationwide Police Custodial Middle in Camp Crame in Quezon Town while Enrile had been permitted from the court to put up bail.
