Supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte march despite the chill of Finnish autumn, in Helsinki City, Finland, against the biased reportage of international media when it comes to Duterte’s affairs.
The group marched from Sanomatalo, home of Finland’s biggest newspaper company, walking past the Central railway station, the World Trade Center and the busy shopping street of Aleksanterinkatu before ending at Helsinki’s iconic Senate Square.
The group was made up of volunteers who, according to a netizen who posted about it on Facebook, “denounced the biased reporting of foreign media including some Finnish media and took upon themselves to promote Duterte’s new policy and reforms that focuses on anti corruption, drug and crime prevention and vibrant economic agendas”.
The rally was peaceful, orderly and was in coordination with the police.
