Isa sa kamangmangan na banat ni Ninoy Aquino noon sa Marcos Administration taon 1970’s ay ang sabi ni Ninoy “makakain ba natin ang mga infrastructure nayan?”
Kung hindi ni Pangulong Marcos noon naipatayo ang mga naglalakihang proyekto tulad ng San Juanico Bridge na nagdurugtong sa Samar at Leyte ay siguradong namamangka ngayon ang mga waray patawid sa Leyte o Samar.
 Ang mga proyektong ito ang nagsilbing sandigan ng mga mamamayang Pilipino hangang sa kasalukuyan, na kung walang isang Marcos ay mas mahirap pa ang ating bansa ngayon sa daga.

SAN JUANICO BRIDGE, MARCOS REGIME PROJECT

July 2, 1973: Inauguration of the San Juanico Bridge, the longest bridge in the Philippines.
On July 2, 1973, the San Juanico Bridge, the longest (2.16-kilometer) bridge in the Philippines which spans a body of sea water between the islands of Samar and Leyte in the Visayas, was inaugurated.
